Team Lead – Australian Tax

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – Australian Tax to lead our taxation outsourcing division. This role involves managing client engagements, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations, and guiding a team to deliver accurate and timely outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of Australian tax returns (individuals, companies, trusts, SMSFs).
• Ensure compliance with ATO requirements and deadlines.
• Manage client relationships with professionalism and clarity.
• Supervise and mentor tax staff, ensuring quality control and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance on complex tax matters.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

• CPA/CA qualified (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in Australian taxation.
• Strong knowledge of ATO compliance, tax legislation, and SMSF rules.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under deadlines.
• Experience in outsourcing/offshore team management is an advantage.
