Role Overview
We are seeking an SMSF Accountant with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in SMSF accounting and audit preparation. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for SMSFs in compliance with Australian regulations
- Manage SMSF administration using BGL360 and Class software
- Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance checks for SMSF accounts
- Facilitate audit processes by coordinating with auditors and ensuring timely delivery of required documentation
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge-sharing within the team
Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in SMSF accounting or audit support
- Strong knowledge of SMSF compliance requirements and accounting standards
- Hands-on experience with BGL360 and Class software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (mandatory)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
