The Role
This is a senior operational role with real ownership — not a processing job with a senior title. You will supervise our delivery team, manage client deliverables, maintain quality standards, and handle all client communication with Australian firms. The Founder focuses on business development. You ensure everything runs without him.
What You Will Do
Operations & Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end SMSF accounting workflow across all client funds
- Review and finalise SMSF financial statements and tax returns prepared by processing staff
- Maintain turnaround SLAs and escalate risks proactively
- Build and maintain SOPs for all recurring client workflows
- Manage workload allocation across the processing team
Client Communication
- Serve as primary point of contact for all Australian client firms
- Handle all client email communication — response within 24 hours
- Manage queries on ATO compliance, fund-level matters, and deliverable status
Team Supervision
- Supervise and mentor team members
- Review their work before client submission
- Build their technical capability over time
What We Are Looking For
Must Have
- 3 to 5 years hands-on SMSF accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of BGL360 or Class Super
- Deep understanding of ATO SMSF compliance — contributions, pensions, TBAR, actuarial, SuperStream
- Ability to independently review and finalise SMSF financials and tax returns
- Professional written English for client-facing communication with Australian firms
- Ability to supervise junior staff and take accountability for team output
Preferred
- Experience in an KPO serving Australian accounting firms
- Good English communication skills
- CA, CWA, CPA qualification or in progress
